NIGERIA U-20 TEAM GEAR UP FOR LIBYA

25 Players and 9 Officials of the Flying Eagles (Nigerian U-20) returned to camp on Tuesday, August 24, 2010, in preparation for the last round of the qualifiers for the 2011 African Youth Championship slated for Libya.

The team will, in the next one month, be perfecting their strategies for snatching a ticket from Mauritius, their last opponent in the qualifiers. The Flying Eagles will traveltoMauritius to honour an away first leg encounter against the Islanders between 24th to26th September, 2010, and return to Abuja for the second leg a month later.

The Flying Eagles eliminated Junior Sylis Stars of Guinea 2-1 goals aggregate during the first round, while Mauritius bundled out highly fancied Zambia 3-2 on goal aggregate to set the stage for the forthcoming explosive cracker.
